Revert to -r1.4 (without a S.p.a.m.m.e.d. link name)

The todo list is handy for reporting wiki suboptimality.

A news page (set up as a mini-blog, just like the todo list) that announces new wiki features would be nice to have. Being able to see a trail of improvements could help motivate involvement.
