 # What is ClockNet?

ClockNet is a project to build a very low cost ethernet card for classic Amgia computers equipped with a clockport. It is based on a Cirrus Logic / Crystal CS8900A chip (Individual Computers RR-Net was based on the same chip). Hardware is designed by Rafal "rafgc" Chyla. I work on the software side of this project. Current prototype is based around Olimex CS8900A-H module.

Keep in mind that this project is still in a very early stage. It is not clear when (or if) ClockNet will surface as a final product.

 # The NetBSD driver

Currently I work on adapting cs89x0 driver to support 8-bit polled mode, which is needed for ClockNet.
