NetBSD lets you mount ISO images using the [vnd(4)]( disk driver.
The vnd driver provides a disk-like interface to a file.

#Mounting the Image

    # vnconfig vnd0 v7x86-0.8a.iso                      
    # mount -t cd9660 /dev/vnd0a /mnt
    # cd /mnt
    # ls
    COPYRIGHT        README          v7x86-0.8a.tar   version
    INSTALL          RELNOTES         boot.img         v7x86intro.pdf

#Unmounting the Image

    # umount /mnt
    # vnconfig -u vnd0
